SW Regional Youth

News:

The Southwest Regional Youth Circuit tournament would like to announce the dates and hosts for the 2006-2007 season:

November 18-19, Gulf Coast TX Div., Host: Bayou City Fencing Academy

January 27-28, North TX Div., Host: Lone Star Fencing Center

March 17-18, Border TX Div., Host: Salle De Long

April 28-29, Gulf Coast TX Div., Host: Salle Mauro

All SWRYC events will include Youth 14, 12 and 10 events in Epee, Foil and Sabre. An additional unofficial Moppetto (Youth 10 and under) event may be schedule by hosts.

Participants are invited to used askFRED.net for further information on venues and times. Registration should be paid online or mail to the hosting club before the competition through askFRED.net.

The final SW RYC Point Standings will take into account all the RYCs and will be posting on Askfred.net. using the same USFA Youth categories domestic point standing list.

Please note that an updated to SWRYC calendar could take place if USFA Regional Youth Circuit decides to schedule Super Youth events on the same weekend than our events.

Facts:

	Twenty three clubs from the Southwest Section participated in the 2005-2006 SWRYC Click here to see clubs
	Three RYCs brought a total of 614 competitors between girls and boys
	Three youth events were scheduled; 14, 12, 10 as well as Moppetto categories
	Three weapons were fenced; epee, foil and saber
	Youth 14 Epee and Youth Foil were rated events
